Well today was another one of those interesting boring days that I am begining to have alot of…

It all starts at the mall at 3:00 pm (ish) Tuesday December 28th 2004…

So I talk to some friends and find out half the population of the people I know are going to the mall tuesday so I decided I would come along. I get to the mall a bit later then I was supposed to (had to walk). No worries though cause everyone was just chillaxin at a table in starbucks in chapters.

We head out from there into the infinite void of endless shoppers and stores, already I can feel my legs begin to weaken. Ofcourse we ended up meeting a whole whack of people so our group was a giant mob for a little bit. But as usual our group dies down to the usual three, Justin, Hannah and myself.

Anyways so now that our micky mouse club has lost some members we just decided to make trips from HMV to Chapters and back to HMV again when finally we decided to hang out in The Bay and watch tv for a good 45 minutes. That was fun until some old guy came and started dancing in front of our TV while apologizing for blocking our view (sarcastically I might add)…I didnt like the guy, which people might’ve guessed by a certain finger rising into the air very quickly…my apologies.

So after that we all got rides and went home. I went over to Justins house where we managed to keep ourselves preocupied by doing nothing. The fun lasted until 11:00 pm where at that point I decided that I had had enough “excitement” for one night and suggested we turn out the lights and head to bed. Ofcourse Justin wasn’t to jazzed about this idea so he managed to think up a brillaint excuse to convince me to stay awake which sounded something similar to this “Its early! The night is young!”. I fell for it and before I knew it he ended up being right because it had literally become “early” …in the morning, 4:00 am to be precise…so much for getting a good nights sleep.

So we wake up 12:00 pm today and I was so hungry I felt sick so what else would I do but…MAKE A GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH! Oh yes it was very good. (ask Justin, he stole mine)

So after that I pack up my gear, bid my farewells and began my long trek down to the mall from Justin’s house. I had to go back to the mall and exchange this cd I got for Hannah for the Ryan Caberra one, (or however you spell his name) cause I got the wrong one, haha its so something I would do.Anyways so I get to HMV and get it exchanged, which is good because yesterday they didnt do exchanges which really ticked me off cause yesterday was when I wanted to give it to her.

Anyways though so now I got the cd and I’m all set. So once again I begin the long journey to Hannah’s house. Stopped at Tim Hortons on the way, got a coffee, spilt it on my jacket, used some inappropriate language and watched as an old guy drove by and laughed himself silly after watching my little mishap. I pulled myself together and began to walk through mission creek to Hannahs.

In the meantime I thought up this great techno song where this guy would keep repeating the words “the coffee is hot” in a really weird voice then the background would go like “dun dun dun doodle dee dun dun!” So yeah I spent most of the time walking there talking to myself and debating whether time travel was actually possible.

So I get to Hannah’s, give her the cd, she seemed to like it…I should certainly hope so! Haha.

Then I walk back to the mall while continuing my debate. I get to Chapters and wait outside for my ride at one of the outside tables at starbucks. So check this, I was sitting there playing cards with myself (I won by the way) when I spotted this bum guy come out of starbucks with a coffee and about 37 little packets of brown sugar.

Nothing to interesting really, besides the fact that he must really like sugar. So he sits down on the table next to mine. Then I notice that he isnt using the sugar for his coffee but he is opening each packet and throwing the sugar on the ground! So I’m like “what is this guy doing?” and before you know it theres a nice big pile of brown sugar on the ground. “Maybe hes feeding the birds or something” I said to myself.

About five minutes later he stands up and starts freaking out, at no one in paticular but he is really loud. He sorta stumbles around and starts yelling about how someone stole his idea and that the new techknology is dangerous.  He also started talking about how everybodys aim was horrible and we didnt deserve to have laptops. So he just goes on about this for 5 minutes and I’m just sitting there trying not to laugh…to hard.

Then he sits back down and says this: “Saddle up boys…were going patrolling.”

Haha so I’m thinking “This is guy is great! …but there most be something wrong with him…or hes just to much of a genius for anyone to understand.”

Anyways so it was pretty interesting. My ride came and now I’m at home reflecting on the events of the past 24 hours. Haha another day in the boring yet exciting life of Brandon Krogel.
